The Buzz -- The area is a growing field for the wild sweet pea, and this annual festival (held in early August) was named in its honor. The Sweet Pea Festival dates back to 1900, but it faltered for a time. It was restarted more than 20 years ago and today plays hosts to live music, parades, arts, crafts, and tons of food. |
