With a traditional, long Western saloon bar, this is one of the city's favorite nighttime hangouts. The decor is dark and woody, and the crowd is friendly and cordial. Boodle's also hosts a live jazz band on weekends.

Bands take the stage on Thursday through Saturday nights at this bar. The Cat's Paw may be plain in decor, but its spacious area and variety of beers make it a popular nightspot. With a rooftop patio lined with chicken wire, this bar is in a class of its own. The Crystal Bar is a typical honky-tonk joint where patrons dress in cowboy gear. Popular with the college crowd, it is jam-packed and loud.

Housed in a historic building that dates back to the early 1900's, this spacious restaurant is sparsely decorated. There is a range of available seating to choose from, including the pub, the Grill Room (reservations required), and the deck. The service is good and the crowd friendly. Montana Ale Works also has lots of pool tables for recreational use.

The city's first coffee house, which is almost 25 years old, is a very popular and crowded spot. The Leaf and the Bean displays all its delicious treats, including apple pies, bagels, muffins, and brownies, to tempt the customers. You can choose to eat outdoors or indoors on comfy sofas. The owners also sell novelty items and original artwork.
