The building, which dates back to the early 1900's, houses more than 30 studios and galleries. The Emerson Cultural Center is a driving force in the local arts community. Visitors are welcomed to watch as artisans create their work or to enjoy the masterpieces on display and for sale.

This gallery features mostly local art. Work covers different types of mediums, including watercolors, oil, and sculptures. Frame Work Designs also offers a nice selection of Montana and Western art depicting nature and wildlife. This is a terrific place to acquire a piece that will hold memories of your trip.

With a friendly golden retriever named Sammy to greet visitors, this gallery is a must visit. The Gray Fox showcases original artwork in all mediums, including pottery, hand-painted tiles, etchings, watercolors, and bronze sculptures. The shop also has note cards and custom framing available.

This gallery (located downtown) has wonderfully displayed art and sculptures. Images of wolves, Indians, and bison are predominant. The gallery also exhibits oil paintings depicting the natural habitat of the area. An added bonus is the collection of knives. Featured artists include Charlie Russell, J.C. Dye, and Paco Young.

There is something here in every price range. The Old Main Gallery has been a local fixture since the '60's and still represents a range of artistic tastes. From paintings and prints focusing on animals and the surrounding area to pencil etchings of fishing scenes, this gallery covers it all. A specialty of the gallery is its collection of antique paper art and its framing department.

As the name implies, this local co-op is a collaborative effort housed in the Emerson Cultural Center. The gallery exhibits more than 20 local and regional artists. Art mediums and pieces include pottery, jewelry, ceramics, acrylics, sculpture, and watercolors.
