Pulled up to this place while visiting Branson. Very warming appearance to the building on the outside, so figured we would stop and try it out without doing our homework. Did not know the price going in, they don't give you a menu, just tell you to go get your buffet. Ended up being $12.95/each, but good thing our 2 year old was free. But this place had the absolute worst food. At buffets I typically eat more than my fair share in order to "get my money's worth". I left this place hungry. The other reviews are not lies, and I would suspect any good reviews are from management.

DO NOT GO!! I'm not a hard to please person when it comes to food and restaurants but give me McDonalds any day. The food was lousy, lukewarm and not much choice, much of the stuff was empty or bottom of the pan and wasn't refilled the whole time we were there. Cost was outrageous for the selection. Service was worst I've ever seen. We had a party of 7 and they seated the party of 6 behind us first at a table that seated 10! No one was friendly except the lady selling discount show tickets and of course, she didn't work for the restaurant. I live in the area and bring visiting friends and family to Branson often and this place is a disgrace to the atmosphere created in this lovely town.

Look, our group went there on accident, so don't make the same mistake. The utensils (tongs for the food) looked as though they had not been changed out since 11am that morning (we went at 5pm). It just looked dirty... the food was not good at all !!! Dry chicken (both roasted and barbque), mashed potatoes were nasty... their chicken soup was horrible!!!! no real veggies, accept for canned corn... DON'T DO IT!!!!!

The meat was dry, the selection was very little, over priced. bad service. If I had known what it was going to be like before I went, I would of gone some place else. Ewww marked in my book of never eating there again. Too bad you even have to give it a one star to rate this resturant.

If there were and option for negative stars, I would have chosen it. I am 64 years old and Peppercorns has the distinction of being the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food was horrible, the selection had little to do with their advertising pictures, and the place was dirty to boot. Several couples turned around at the door and left and one couple even had a coupon for a complimentary meal and the gentleman said it was not even worth a free dinner. If I could have found a listing in the phone book for the Branson Health Department, I would have called them. If you are reading these reviews, all I can say is DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT eat in this restaurant.

We had one of the worst meals ever at Peppercorns. They were way over priced and the service was bad. The buffet had dry meat that looked like it had been sitting for days and the lettuce was wilted. We had a hard time finding anything that we wanted to eat. When you are paying 12.99 per person for a dinner buffet (plus drink) you expect a little more for your money. Also we were charged 1.99 for our 16 month old that maybe ate two bites. I don't know of another restaurant that charges for children that young. The management has no interest in taking care of its customers. The manager I talked to could of cared less in anything I had to say. I have no idea how this restaurant is rated top 10 for Branson. We have been to Branson lots of times and have never come across a restaurant that had such bad food and service. Please take my advice and don't waste your time and money at this restaurant. There are so many other GREAT places in Branson to eat.

Bring your malox. There are many fine places to dine in Branson -Peppercorns is NOT one of them. Relatively few choices, hair in the food, tough steaks, rusty, wilted lettuce, poor service, beverages are not included in the high price and expect surprises when you settle up.

If I could give this restaurant a negative number it's the one I would choose! Lousy service, unclean, and the food was BLAND! The price was way too much for what we received. BAD all around!

Hot food was not hot, cold food was not cold. Cucumbers had been frozen. Chicken was dry. Very over priced...$7.99 for our toddler who didn't like much at all--and he's not a picky eater. I'd NEVER eat there again...pb&j in our hotel room would have been better (and I'm not fond of that). Don't waste your money, your time, and mostly, the sick feeling after you leave--between the bad food,and the amount you pay to have the bad food. The casher/manager was as unfriendly as the food was bad.

We were in Branson for the Christian Youth weekend and wanted to take our youth group out for a buffet meal instead of fast food. We called around and Peppercorn's offered us the best deal for our group of 30+. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with excellent service. Bill, the manager, assigned two servers to our group and no one had an empty glass at any time. The food was also excellent. They had restocked the buffet with foods that kids like to eat since they knew we were coming, even though those foods were not on the menu to be served that night. They kept the bar well stocked and met all of our requests. The kids have requested that we eat at Peppercorns for all our meals out next April when we return to Branson for the Christian Youth weekend.

Not a good experience. Not as advertised. The food was not good at all and would not go back again.

Visit started with a long wait at the table for a server, it was pre-dinner and it was not crowded. Buffet was not kept up with, lots of dried up or empty trays. Would not recommend or try again.
