6. Statue of Roland

CITY CENTER. This historic statue of the knight Roland was built in the very early 1400's and stands as a monument to the strength and history of the city. Locals say the local government built the statue to face the famous church in order to exert their power over the clergy. Take a moment to stand before the statue and take a photograph.   (© 10Best)
