Located in the midst of the naturally beautiful Sussex Downs is this 5000 year-old plot of land. In the 1700s, the prominent Pelham family acquired the area and constructed the Stanmer House. Brighton and Hove Council manages the parkland and uses it as a refuge for wildlife and as an opportunity to teach others through the working farm and church. A pond on-site provides a nice place to enjoy the serene environment.   (© 10Best)
