An Elizabethan stone mansion, built in 1598, located within 35 acres of natural English gardens, and surrounded by 1,000 acres of Forestry Commission land. Once the home of William Robinson, creator of the English natural garden. All rooms have views over either the gardens, the valley and the lake. The 3 acre trout lake provides fly fishing in season. There is a croquet lawn in the summer, and walking in the surrounding countryside.
