BRUNSWICK. This largest shopping mall in the region is home to more than 100 shops and stores, from chains to family-owned businesses in Brunswick. While travelers will certainly enjoy the small shops in historic Downtown and the local Golden Isles, serious shoppers may want to stop in here for a quick shop or to pick up that item left out of their luggage. The mall is easily located a few miles off Interstate 95.

The store stocks surf gear as well as kayaks and supplies and cycling gear. Stock up on the latest outdoor merchandise, ask about kayak trips and get the latest information on local outdoor activities. Rentals are also available.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND. This amusingly named shop sells beautiful cut-glass items for collectors and gift buyers on St. Simons. Opened by artist Mina Marrs more than 20 years ago, the shop is a family tradition that continues to delight visitors with the beauty and craftsmanship of the colorful work. Items for sale include decorative pieces, picture frames, urns, glass bowls and home furnishings. Definitely worth the trip for the colorful craft creations.

In addition to outdoor clothing and accessories, the store also sells paddling and boating gear for the entire family. Newbies can sign up for island tour reservations and clinics on boating and water sports. Owners host daily kayak tours and expeditions. The store also has a location on the mainland.
