5. Battle of Waterloo Re-enactments

The Buzz -- Every year around the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, historical society enthusiasts gather on the same spot just south of Brussels, to re-enact certain aspects of the fighting. A major recreation of the entire battle that led to the downfall of Napoleon, and changed the course of European history in 1815, is held every fifth year (2005, 2010, etc.).
