Both the pacemaker and Cheerios have roots in Buffalo, and the county historical society makes sure the world knows it. The society is housed in the only structure remaining from the city's 1901 Pan American Exposition. Thousands of artifacts and inventions that were key to the history of the area are kept here. The museum's Pan-American exhibit occupies a separate location: the Resource Center, 459 Forest Avenue.   (© 10Best)
