Designed by Eliel and Eero Saarinen and constructed in 1940, this internationally renowned architectural masterpiece is noted for its superb acoustics. Resembling the body of a stringed instrument, the building houses three halls – the main auditorium is the largest and hosts the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, while the smallest is home to the Buffalo Chamber Music Society. For most concerts and events there is a shuttle service – for a small fee, the shuttle will transport you from a nearby free parking lot to the Music Hall.
