Just as Buffalo's landscape changes with each season, so to does the annual rotation of festivals, competitions and community events that color the city's atmosphere. Since Buffalo's a melting pot of different cultures, many events celebrate the city's cultural roots. On Saint Patrick's Day, crowds gather to paint the town green, while the Juneteenth Festival celebrates the contributions of the African American community.
