37. Nickel City Chef

The Buzz -- Nickel City Chef is Western New York's only live cooking competition, featuring top chefs from our region, local ingredients and feisty challengers. Each of our four Nickel City Chefs will face-off against another qualified local chef in side-by-side competition-worthy kitchens located in the gorgeous and historic Artisans Kitchens & Baths. The two chefs will battle to complete original and tasty dishes with a secret ingredient for our panel of celebrity and expert judges; all in less than one hour. The final Nickel City Chef battle of the 2009 season takes place Sunday, September 20th. It pits the distinguished Chef Adam Goetz of Sample against a TBA qualified competitor (see website for details). Participate as a member of the live audience, whose opinion counts toward the final judging tally! Tickets, $20, include a free drink from the bar and catered snacks. Tickets on sale June 12th.
