 EDITOR REVIEW: ALLENTOWN. For lodging with a bit more personality, the Lenox Hotel & Suites is an excellent choice. Constructed as an apartment building in 1896, it's know known as the oldest continually operated hotel in Buffalo and has had the distinction of hosting many celebrities over the years, such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Aaron Copeland, Henry Fonda, Duke Ellington, and Andres Segovia. Standard guest rooms are comfortably furnished and feature microwave, cable TV, dataport, and mini-fridge.
