About Buffalo Nightlife

Buffalo Nightlife

Much like the city itself, the nightlife in Buffalo caters to patrons with diverse interests – music lovers, hardcore sports fans, and even folks simply craving cheap beer and good times. Live jazz and blues are featured frequently at local bars and concert venues, including the upscale Lafayette Taproom and the historic Colored Musicians Club, opened in the 1930s. There's no shortage of watering holes, and for an authentic taste of Buffalo, be sure to dig into some of their signature grub. Located on Main Street, the Anchor Bar receives credit for invention of the city's namesake chicken wings. While Buffalo's not known for its party scene, dancing and revelry are within footsteps. Club Marcella, a popular gay hangout, boasts a huge dance floor and exuberant crowds, while alternative rock fans get their groove on at sophisticated Club Diablo.
