8. Fowler's Fine Chocolate & Ice Cream

ELMWOOD AVENUE.   Under the bright pink awning outside, you'll find Fowler's Fine Chocolate store. This company has been making chocolates in Western New York since 1910. They specialize in gift baskets and offer many unique items, including wedding bars, chocolate swans, roses, chocolate cigars, and virtually any theme that can be reproduced in chocolate. Try any one of the sweet, handmade truffles or candied nut selections while you decide. And while their top seller is the irresistible Sponge Candy, they also sell Perry's Ice Cream, sorbets and gelato. The staff is extremely helpful, and the atmosphere is sheer fun.   (© 10Best)
