Rustic wood beams support the ceiling while weathered stone walls, a cozy fireplace, and hand-laid Italian tiles give the place an elegant Old Country feel, making it a favorite with local romantics. Featured entrees include Ossobuco alla Milanese with saffron risotto, Pesce alla Griglia del Giorno with an olive-and-garlic-lemon-parsley marinade, and Cinghiale Brasato (wild boar) served over soft polenta. Boston has a lot of very fine restaurants, but when it comes to Italian nothing can compare to Trattoria Delia. It was the best tasting Italian mixed with the best wine and a perfect setting.
