MOHANDISEEN.   Sandy, crowded and exploding with the hubbub of profit-crazed commerce, this Friday morning camel market is a unique experience, though it cannot truthfully be recommended for those with a particular concern for animal rights. Camels are driven here from all over the desert to await their unfortunate fates, usually either as meat for slaughter or a career in tourist rides – so don't get attached.   (© 10Best)
