ZAMALEK. Deprived of the knowledge that the word 'Baehler' stands above La Bodega's front door, you'd probably walk past this haunt of Cairo's affluent and trendy, who waft in to lounge in the lounge, pose at the bar and nibble and gossip in the restaurant. That would be a shame, as the (mainly French) food is excellent � particularly the salads � and the people-watching sublime. (© 10Best)

This restaurant has been the worst experience in Egypt. The staff are rude. This is a couples only pub and if you are not a couple, you are not allowed entry.

This restaurant has been the worst experience in Egypt. The staff are rude. This is a couples only pub and if you are not a couple, you are not allowed entry. Highly recommend going to another restaurant or pub and avoiding this one.
