2. Calaway Park

If you've finally decided to give in to the kids' begging for something fun to do, here's where you'll most certainly come. This amusement park, located 10 minutes west of town, will please the young ones for hours, as they scramble to reach the abundance of rides and entertainment. Among the attractions are roller coasters, bumper cars, a log flume, mini-golf, haunted house, magic show and a fishing hole. Activities for younger kids as well as older ones are available, and you'll find a good supply of theme park food for consumption (at over 20 venues), including hamburgers and cotton candy.
