10. Afrikadey

The Buzz -- This annual festival pays tribute to African culture and descendants in Canada. Celebrated throughout the city, the festival includes performances, movie screenings, art shows, concerts, and dance and drum workshops. Professional artists from Canada and throughout the world participate in the week-long event, which looks to showcase Africa's contributions to the world and to foster communication between Africans and non-Africans.
