2. Taste of Calgary

The Buzz -- If food's your thing (and who would that not include?), this festival is heaven on earth. Dozens of Calgary's best restaurants participate in the event, showcasing some of their best culinary offerings for the pleasure of fair-goers. Cuisines from all over the world are represented, including Asian, European and North American destinations. Sweet and savory dishes will tempt your taste buds, and a variety of drink selections is available to wash it all down. While you munch, a number of local bands provide entertainment to please the auditory sense. Admission is free, but sampling tickets are required to purchase food and beverages.
