3. Christ's Pieces

This grassy space in the heart of the city centre is a pleasant place to sit with a sandwich or hotdog from the local stall. It is bordered by the bus station, Christ's College, Emmanuel Road and King Street. Year-round, visitors enjoy the colorful array of flowers that are strategically planted here. A rose garden was added in 1999 to commemorate the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. A playground for children as well as several hard tennis courts and a bowling green can be found here for those seeking recreational activity.
