3. Imperial War Museum Duxford

Numerous displays and interactive exhibits are found in this museum, located at the Duxford airfield. You can view aircraft from the 20th century, including Spitfires, Vulcan B2 bombers, and jet fighters. You also can experience the stressful responsibilities involved in the control tower and feel the power of these aircraft through the seemingly real flight-simulator demonstration. Regular air shows, a museum, and a children's playground are also provided for added entertainment. There are two good cafes and a big gift shop.   (© 10Best)
