In this lovely, quiet museum, part of the University of Cambridge Faculty of Classics, you will find more than 500 plaster casts of Greek and Roman sculptures on display. These casts have been made directly from the originals. This museum is particularly remarkable due to the fact that the majority of these sculptures were destroyed in the middle of the 20th century because they were no longer considered "in style." The place is popular with artists who come here to sketch.
