Numerous displays of fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs and mammals are on exhibit in this museum, which is housed in a beautiful old building inside the university. Britain's oldest compilation of geological information is also found here. Visitors especially enjoy the special showcases, such as the Jurassic Sea exposition. Some parts of the museum are rather old and dusty, but the newly renovated sections are superb. The friendly staff is knowledgeable and willing to help should you have any questions. A small museum shop is available.   (© 10Best)
