6. The Eagle

Housed in an inn dating back to the 16th century, this charming pub is extremely popular among locals and tourists alike. The pub gained fame for its ceiling, which contains numerous autographs by WWII American airmen. This was also a favorite haunt for the two men who discovered the structure of DNA.
