5. Midsummer House

Cambridge's only Michelin-starred restaurant guarantees you an evening of extravagance and fine food. Dine in the elegant setting of this lovely old house located along the River Cam. The a la carte menu selections include a nice variety of French-Mediterranean fare such as fresh fish, tender lamb, and steamed vegetables. But to get the full experience, go for a tasting menu, with such concoctions as Roast Zander, Red Wine and Nettles followed by Peppermint Tea Jelly for dessert.
