6. Tour du Masque

This 12th century tower is said to be haunted by the ghost of the mythical figure known as the "Man in the Iron Mask." It is said that he escaped his prison cell and lived out his life in this tower, and that he was eventually able to forgive those who locked him up and caused him to live a life of torment.
