6. Palace Theatre

DOWNTOWN.   Established in 1926, the lovely Palace Theatre was created as a movie house/vaudeville. Thanks to a rescue and renovation effort that took place in the 1980s and 1990s, this beautiful establishment continues to host a variety of events from live stage acts to lectures and modern films. Guests enjoy the stage, with its elaborate columned proscenium and colors that resemble the original ornamentation.   (© 10Best)
