5. McKinley National Memorial

In memory of the 25th President of the United States, this imposing domed structure rests 108 steps high upon a hill. The dome structure's exterior is constructed of pink Milford granite. Stone surmounts the dome itself, and the crown is encircled with a laurel wreath made of bronze. Entombed in the memorial are President William McKinley, his wife Ida Saxton McKinley and their two children. Visitors to the attraction will enjoy the impressive building and the beauty of the 26-acres of surrounding land. Adjacent to this memorial stands the educational McKinley Museum.   (© 10Best)
