OK people stop saying bad things about the Stables; it's a great place and has great food. Anyone that says anything different just doesn't no what real food is. I will go to the stables for every meal if I could, the food is amazing and so is the service.

the stables restaurant has a great amount of potential but the place was the most unorganized and bootleg places i have ever seen then they had a couple takeover they used to own the centerplace they were the worst they did fix things up like the tables and bathrooms but they took all of the heritage out of the place they treated the old staff like crap the wort and degrading didnt pay them for days they worked and took all the steaks off the menue except like 1 or 2 and no chicken pork or ribs from a sports rest replaced them with wraps and chicken salad no personality and nasty mouths

I wanted to try this restaurant Knowing it was once owned by Chris Spielman ( he at least had something to do with the restaurant). The name does not fit the theme ....... however, you can easily discover why it is named The Stables once you see the historical pictures. What a great story!! Personally, I love the place .... I stopped there for lunch with my brother. I am planning a return with my entire family. I hope they keep the same "Football" theme with any updates. The decor is indescribable...but that`s where the good part ends. Probably the dirtiest restaurant I have seen. Food was mediocre. The building has great potential but is in general disrepair. What a shame!

Not quite sure why people would go to place called the "Stables" expecting fine cuisine! I have gone there several times, never crowded, great food, great service and great atmosphere. They have good steaks, the burgers are good and their chicken dishes are good as well. If you are looking for a place where the waiters are wearing tuxedos and the staff pamper you, this isn't it. If you are looking for a hometown feel, good food decent prices and convenience, I would recommend it.

Easter buffet 2005, After having heard great things about the Easter buffet I decide to make reservations and take my mother. From the point of entry I sensed things were not going to be good. Great by a gruff poorly dressed woman who wanted to know if we had a reservation. She took my name but never said a word to let me know if we needed to set ourselves or wait to be seated. The staff looked as if they all were coming off a drunken Friday night. Tee shirts, jeans, shorts etc.. This is an Easter buffet you would have thought black pants and white shirts would have been mandatory. Table top was clean but the area in and around the booth was filthy. Food was cold, dried out, no flavor, old, etc.... Desserts where a mess, nothing to cut pies with. All in all very horrible experience. Will never recommend. Buffet for 2, cost $43.92. Total waste of money and time. The only bright spot was the server was attentive. Sending a letter to management requesting money be refunded.

Valentines Day 2004. Waited 1 hour for food after we ordered. Veggies were cold, not even warm. Had those replaced. Coffee was NEVER refilled. Complained to the front desk twice, was told they would send the manager back to our room...never saw the manager. No adjustments were made to our bill, even though we requested it. In the past I've had business meetings/dinner at The Stables. I will take my business elsewhere. This was not a business meal, but was supposed to be a romantic dinner for my husband and I along with our friends. We had a group of 16. Steaks were not done as requested. Pasta was cold. Veggies were cold. Service was awful.
