The numerous attractions found here, including the St. Helena III, The Canal Days Museum and the Oberlin House, make this a great place to visit. A chocolate lover's paradise! The man for whom this famous (and scrumptious) Chocolate Factory was named began mixing the irresistible goodies as gifts for his friends. Finally, in 1922, Harry London gave up his career as a steelworker to become a full time confectioner of what many consider today to be the most superb chocolates in the world. Forty-five minute tours of the factory are now provided for visitors to compare the humble beginnings of this renowned company with the 200,000 square foot factory that now produces hundreds of sweet delights daily. After the tour, visitors may shop in the chocolate store and make selections from among the 500 varieties of chocolate and gourmet candies on display.

Plan to shop all day, as you never quite know what you might stumble upon at this highly acclaimed antique market. Found in the center of Ohio's largest Flea Market, this antique haven features hundreds of vendors. Over fifty years ago, the place in which these antiques are housed once held an auction that farmers would frequent to buy livestock. Among the seemingly endless list of items that can be found here are tools, furniture, knives, lamps, glassware and advertising signs. With over 10,000 square feet of space filled with antique merchandise, there is truly something here for everyone!

Nestled between Akron and Canton in Lake Township, the Village of Hartville has managed to maintain the charm of a rural town while still offering conveniences of a larger city. This area is well-known for its Amish and Mennonite Heritage, and it offers visitors an insightful look at the lifestyles of these communities. A variety of shopping venues, restaurants, attractions and antique stores are also found in this township, thus offering guests plenty of options for an eventful visit. Among these numerous sites and activities are the Hartville Kitchen and the Hartville Flea Market (Ohio's largest and oldest).

A charming section of the city of Canton, North Canton houses numerous popular attractions and peaceful parks. North Canton enjoys a convenient location that is easily accessible from many different parts of Stark County. First time visitors to this area are encouraged to visit Harry London Candies (and take a tour of the chocolate factory) and the Hoover Historical Center and to take in a show at the community playhouse. Numerous stores and antique shops are also located here, thus adding to the list of things to do in the neighborhood.

Experience the meaning behind the saying, "With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good." Located in the town of Orrville, Ohio, this store features products produced by the J.M. Smucker Company (originally founded in the latter part of the 19th century). The merchandise in this store includes over 300 different types of Smucker's jams, jellies, peanut butters and ice cream toppings. Gift baskets are available, offering a perfect gift idea. The building in which this store is housed has been constructed to reflect the traditions and styles of the Amish community.

Journey back in time to your childhood days with a visit to this all-encompassing classic toystore. Items sold here bring back memories of yesteryear. Shop while familiar jingles conjure up memories of a time when the stresses in life amounted to a scout meeting and a sticker swap out of your beloved sticker collection. Vintage toys, dolls and TV memorabilia from ages ago are all available. In fact, this may be one of the few places left that sells Atari's "Leap Frog" video game or all of the dolls from the very first Star Wars movie. Nestled amidst the serene environment of the village of Hartville, this pleasant antique store is one that stands out among numerous others found in this area. Many of the items displayed in Victorian Rose date from the late 1830s to the early 1900s. Among the diverse inventory provided is a selection of Victorian furniture, old-fashioned vellum stationery and beautiful beaded lampshades. Though the list of items is vast, each article has been neatly placed so that a dedicated shopper can easily discover it.
