3. Casa Natal de Simón Bolívar

While in the Venezuelan capital, explore some of its past by visiting the birthplace of Simón Bolívar, famous military leader. His memory is extremely revered by many locals as he was officially known as "El Libertador" or "The Liberator." The birthplace is a simple colonial house that gives visitors a feel for what life was like during the times of Bolívar and his ancestors, as the house was constructed by Bolívar's great-grandfather.
