3. Coal Exchange

Constructed in 1884, the Coal Exchange's Great Hall is now the site of many of Cardiff's important cultural events including concerts, sporting events and major social functions. The Coal, located in the center of Mount Stuart Square, is the former financial heart of Cardiff and contains many of the city's listed buildings. In 1911, the world's first �1 million deal was made at the Coal Exchange.
