3. Forest Farm Country Park

Forest Farm, designated a county park in the early 1990s, is a beautiful expanse of parkland bordering the scenic Taff Gorge, northwest of Cardiff City Centre. Located near Castell Coch, the park lies on the banks of the River Taff, which slowly winds its way through acres of immaculate woodland, including a designated wildlife reserve. Guests are invited to take advantage of picnic areas, fishing, and hiking trails. Every third Saturday of the month, there is a guided walk to discover the flora and fauna of the park.   (© 10Best)
