1. Cardiff Festival

The Buzz -- Known as one of the largest free festivals in Europe, the Cardiff Festival is as exciting as they get. This festival, which may begin as early as late July and last until September or October, is free of charge and includes live music, dancing, theatre, and children's events. In fact, it's not one but several festivals all gathered under the same umbrella! The Cardiff Festival is celebrated citywide and reaches its highest level of energy during the Admiral Cardiff Big Weekend, the festival's finale, which is held in the Cardiff Civic Centre and has been known to draw more than 300,000 revelers.
