4. Cardiff Half Marathon

The Buzz -- Thousands of scantily-clad runners fill the streets of Cardiff every October for the annual half-marathon race. Organised by Barnardo's, the race is popular with locals raising money for charity and many runners are wearing extravagant costumes or at least charity t-shirts. It always take place on a Sunday morning in mid-October.
