7. Christmas in Cardiff

The Buzz -- Cardiff likes to celebrate Christmas in style, with a whole host of events leading up to the big day. Things kick off with the switch-on of the Christmas Lights in mid-November in the city centre. An ice rink is set up in front of the Civic Centre, offering skating fun for all of 53 days! There are special events in Cardiff Bay, extended opening hours in the shops, and more Park & Ride services put on to make it easier to drive into the city. Only a Scrooge would miss it.
