This restaurant has garnered awards and acclaim for service and cuisine, which is nominally French but with a Welsh twist. Enjoy the dynamic environment and modern interior as you sample a rib-eye with béarnaise and pommes frites. A daily prix fixe lunch menu is available, and a prix fixe dinner menu can also be had. Other dishes include steamed seabass with crushed Jersey royals, baby leeks & asparagus, lettuce cream & caviar chantilly. A great selection of wines is sensibly priced.   (© 10Best)

If you're thinking of booking here, think twice! Yes the food is good, if you get there! The booking system is ridiculous and we have had a telephone call within an hour of our pre-made booking to advise that they were fully booked! This isn't a one off - it's a fequent thing with Le Gallois! This place is resting on it's laurels and the lack of much competition around Cardiff. Not the place it used to be!
