Bute Park runs alongside the River Taff and contains islands of flowers and greenery, manicured lawns, and several benches. The wide pathways accommodate both joggers and bikers, and the soccer fields are ideal for competitive and friendly matches. An established arboretum, a Stonehenge-like circle of stones, and the wide and expansive vistas make this park a haven for people exercising, studying, or relaxing.

Near Cardiff's northern border, you'll find a tranquil, 200-acre wooded area known as Cefn-Onn Country Park. A terrific place to spend the afternoon, the park offers brilliant beds of azaleas and rhododendrons, several small streams, and a few possible brushes with the local fauna.

Forest Farm, designated a county park in the early 1990s, is a beautiful expanse of parkland bordering the scenic Taff Gorge, northwest of Cardiff City Centre. Located near Castell Coch, the park lies on the banks of the River Taff, which slowly winds its way through acres of immaculate woodland, including a wildlife reserve. Guests are invited to take advantage of picnic areas, fishing, and hiking trails.
