Cardiff Bay

Cardiff Bay is the home of many sites – the Oval Basin, Lightship 2000, the Victorian-style Pierhead Building – that can fill your day. At the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre, you'll find souvenirs, stamps, postcards, and films for sale, and you can watch a multiple-screen video presentation of local events and festivals. Cardiff Bay is in the process of undergoing extensive renovations, and there are several balsawood, scale models at the centre showing how the area will look after the renovations are complete.
