This museum is a favorite attraction in the city of Carlisle. The downstairs gallery features varying works of art by local artists. Upstairs, you will find an exhibit illustrating 2,000 years of border history. Interactive activities are provided, including storytelling, art workshops, and children's events. Additional exhibits consist of re-creations of ancient Roman streets, historical information on Hadrian's Wall, and an audiovisual display on the hundreds of years of fighting along the borders.
