The present church standing on this foundation is one of four churches that have been built here since 685 AD. The very first church was built here in honor of St. Cuthbert. One of the oldest remaining items is the 14th century stained glass window in the 18th century Georgian structure that now stands here. The most unique feature of this place of worship is its convenient transportable pulpit. (© 10Best) More Details for St. Cuthbert's ChurchHours: Daily Type: Historic Sites, Religious Sites |
