4. The Griffin

This large pub is housed in an historic, ornate sandstone building. It enjoys a convenient location near the train station. The spacious interior is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, long curving booths, strategically placed televisions, and inviting fireplaces with painted tiles. Behind the bar, you will find at least 10 drafts, conditioned cask ales, and a friendly staff.
