6. The Viceroy

What can i say other than exemplorary. Wether you love curry or not, this has to be a restaurant on your hit list. Not only has Mr Ali created a welcoming and relaxed environment, but he has pushed the boundraries of the cuisine. The Viceroy was nominated in both 2006 and 2007 in the Britsh Curry Awards and they were evetually crowned Winners in 2008. I have eaten here sevevral times and upon arrival i'm always very pleasently suprised, Mr Ali is always around and remembers you and welcomes you personally. Once taken to your table you find such a wide variety upon the Bangladshi inspired menu. It looks good on paper you think, then your dinner arrives and you are assended to curry heaven. I have to recommend you to be a little adventurous, if your worried about heat, they can tone it down on request, but i'm sure like me you will find food bursting with flvour, delicate combinations of quality spices, tender meat, A1 Tandoori Chicken, and beautiful fresh breads. 10/10 my mouth is watering just at the thought...
