7. The Bistro @ Kokopelli Winery

Arizona's largest, most decorated winery, Kokopelli offers some 25 wines produced with organically grown grapes. Its bistro offers a change of pace for lunch or for an afternoon break. The regular lunchtime menu features variations of crostini and bruschetta, fresh salads, and inventive sandwiches; during the afternoon, graze on a "Nosh" plate of cheeses, olives and fruits. Dinner fare (Thursday through Saturday) is often prepared with house wines: merlot-braised pot roast and chicken cordon bleu pasta are standouts. Plus, Kokopelli's own award-winning vintages are served by the glass or bottle, and wine flights are available. Live music adds a bit of pizzazz, too.   (© 10Best)
