Heritage District

If you're a fan of historic architecture and charming small-town atmosphere, Gilbert's downtown area is definitely calling to you. The Heritage District, along North Giilbert Street from Juniper Avenue south to Elliot Road, is the original townsite and retains much of its character, although the shops and restaurants here are thoroughly modern. The Hale Theatre (theatre-in-the-round) is also located here.
