CHAPEL HILL.   Beautiful paper lanterns adorn this trendy dining room, where patrons ooh and ah over the innovative Asian-inspired cuisine and sip exotic cocktails and chilled sake at the bar. Pleasing first courses, such as Thai chicken salad with chilies, lime, roasted peanuts, red onions and crispy rice stick noodles, are difficult to resist. Then, dinner showcases bountiful eats such as fried whole North Carolina flounder with garlic, chiles, tamarind, fresh lime leaf, carrot salad and jasmine rice. Strong wine list. Late night menu served til midnight Friday and Saturday.   (© 10Best)

The muted-green walls and Nelson Bubble Lamps perfectly fit the Asian-inspired decor of this minimalist yet elegant restaurant. The flavorful Asian menu, which features daily specials, draws quite a crowd, so get here early to ensure a table. (from Southern Living)

My husband and I had our Valentine's dinner there recently. This was by far the most horrible meal we have ever had and the most we have ever paid for a dinner. at 65.00 a plate, we were expecting to at least be able to "eat" our meal. I could only stand a few bites of my entree, completely disappointing. The service was poor in addition to the horrible food. They seated us for our “65.00 per person meal” 2 ft from a crowded bar with overbearing music. The waiter was aware of our dissappointment as he took away an untouched meal and offered a free desert as an apology (rice pudding!) The staff clearly didn't care. We left in shock that we actually paid so much for a meal and would have much rather eaten at a fast food restaurant for our Valentine's Dinner. Absolutely overrated and overpriced!
