PITTSBORO. Located on a former dairy farm outside Chapel Hill, Fearrington Village is a quaint little town with about 1500 residents, several unique shops, and this award-winning inn and restaurant. Guest rooms are individually decorated with antiques, original artwork, and luxurious linens. Some have a fireplace or Jacuzzi tub. Beautifully landscaped English gardens surround the inn, creating an elegant setting for a romantic stroll. MEBANE. SItuated on ten acres in rural Orange county and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this inn was once home to the headmaster of the old Bingham Preparatory School. Painstakingly restored and furnished with beautiful 19th century antiques, each guest room has a fireplace and a private bath – one room even has a whirlpool bath.
